Know Tech Phar Company

Know Tech Phar Company is a knowledge-based company specializing in the formulation and production of herbal medicines, located in the Science and Technology Park of the University of Tehran. The members of the scientific, research and development team, technical managers, and company executives are specialists in pharmacy, medicine, and chemistry, with extensive research and professional experience in the identification of medicinal plants, their therapeutic effects, herbal pharmacy, and industrial pharmacy.

Since its establishment, Know Tech Phar has completed the formulation of nine products under the brand names: Recolic and Culic syrups; Migraphar, Hypophar, and Nasophar capsules; Bizalan and Recobizol ointments; and Recobizol and Bizalan medicated shampoos. After obtaining manufacturing licenses from the National Food and Drug Administration, the company has carried out their industrial production and made them available in pharmacies throughout the country.

The company’s main objectives are the design and development of new formulations in the field of herbal medicine, achieving high quality and efficacy, and utilizing the country’s wide range of medicinal plants to promote public health.

Due to its scientific approach in medicine formulation and the application of up-to-date pharmaceutical science and modern technologies in herbal medicine production,Know Tech Phar has received numerous honors in the national pharmaceutical industry, including:

• Receiving the title of “Selected Knowledge-Based Product” for Recobizol medicated shampoo for two consecutive years at the Third National Festival and Exhibition of Medicinal Plants, Natural Products, and Traditional Medicine of Iran (September 2016).

• Receiving the title of “Top Technology Company” at the 21st University of Tehran Research Festival (January 2013).

• Receiving the title of “Top Company” at the Fourth Innovation and Entrepreneurship Festival (December 2012).
